For our client in Almelo we are looking for a crane operator. The company is a specialist in recycling metal. They process waste metal in a sustainable way (think household appliances to train carriages and airplanes).

What are your duties?
- Challenging and varied job: As a crane operator, you will be in charge of a wide range of tasks that range from grading and sorting materials to loading production machinery and loading and unloading trucks and ships;
- Responsibility for material management: You will be responsible for accurately inspecting and sorting materials, where efficiency and precision are essential for a smooth production process;
- Environmental and safety compliance: You perform all your duties with strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment;
- Equipment maintenance: In addition to your operational duties, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the crane and other machinery, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity;
- Teamwork and cooperation: You not only work with the crane, but are also able to work with other production machines, such as forklifts and shovels. In addition, you will contribute to an organized and neat working environment on the job site;
- Reliability and efficiency: As a crane operator, you are an essential link in the production process, where reliability, efficiency and professionalism are of paramount importance.
What are we looking for?
- You have completed a technical education and also hold the machinist certificate;
- In addition, you have experience in working independently with the crane, shovel and forklift truck;
- You can work independently as well as in a team and you have a good command of the Dutch language;
- You are flexible, can switch easily and are technically skilled.
