What are your duties?

As an operator, you will be responsible for the entire production process of baking different types of bread. How does good dough feel? How long should the bread rise in the proofing cabinet? What adjustments can I make to the machine to make the line run even better? After a good training period, you will be able to answer these questions and run your line completely independently! You will contribute to the tastiest bread for our client's customers.

In this role, you will learn how to ensure a high-quality end product. With your eye for detail and sense of technology:

  • Set up machines and monitor the process from start to finish.
  • Keep a close eye on quality and perform checks.
  • Signal and fix minor malfunctions.
  • Weigh your raw materials carefully and ensure the right proportions.
  • Keep your workplace clean and safe - hygiene is as important as taste.
  • Work with colleagues to improve the process and keep the production line running optimally.

You will work in a 3-shift operation, where flexibility and occasional Saturday work are part of the job.

  • Flexibility - varying working hours is not a problem for you. You will work in a 3-shift operation, usually according to the schedules below (but depending on the line, this may change):
    • 08:00 to 16:00
    • 16:00 to 00:00
    • 00:00 to 08:00
    • Or
    • 07:00 to 15:00
    • 15:00 to 23:00
    • 23:00 to 07:00
  • You will also work on Saturdays on average once or twice every 4 weeks.
  • Night shifts often involve working six nights (last night is Friday to Saturday).
