We are looking for an experienced mechanical fitter for a leading manufacturer of concrete products in Vriezenveen. The company is known for innovation, durability and quality. You will work in a production environment where modern installations are used and improvements and optimisations are continuously sought.

What are your duties?
As a mechanical mechanic, you will be the driving force behind the maintenance and continuity of production facilities. Your duties include:

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on machinery and equipment

Locating and rectifying faults

Overhaul and optimisation of mechanical parts

Thinking along about improvements in the production process

Support and manage the electrical colleague on site
You will work the day shift from 07:00 to 17:15. The standard working week is four days (38 hours), but there is scope to extend this to five days and/or Saturday work.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a craftsman who not only tinkers, but also takes initiative and dares to take responsibility. Furthermore, you will bring:

MBO work and thinking level towards mechanical engineering, mechanics or comparable

Experience as a mechanical mechanic in a manufacturing environment

Independence and problem-solving skills

Leadership qualities and willingness to support and direct colleagues

Flexibility and motivation to pick up overtime or Saturday work if required
