For a leading B2B wholesaler in furniture, we are looking for a Internal Service Coordinator who knows how to combine structure, overview and customer focus. This organisation supplies contemporary furniture collections to the retail, project furnishing and hospitality sectors. Both under private labels and under its own brands. With its own design department and strong international network, it is a reliable player in the home furnishing sector.

What are your duties?

As an office coordinator, you are the liaison between customers, account managers and internal departments. Together with a colleague, you are the first point of contact for customers and ensure that both order processing and service issues run smoothly. You think commercially and are solution-oriented and actively contribute to improving customer satisfaction.
Other duties include:
  • Managing and coordinating the daily operations in the inside sales and logistics department;
  • Answering customer queries (by phone and email);
  • Processing and monitoring orders, deliveries and invoicing and preparing quotations;
  • Review and handle service calls;
  • Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in processes;
  • Support the account managers and liaise with logistics and procurement;
  • Actively contribute to sales opportunities and customer relationships.

What are we looking for?

  • MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
  • Demonstrable experience in a coordinating inside sales or service-oriented role;
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (German and/or French is an advantage);
  • Handy with systems: Microsoft Office and experience with ERP software;
  • Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude;
  • Natural helicopter view and a structured way of working;
  • Affinity with the furniture industry is nice, but not a must.
