Do you want to help build a cleaner and more sustainable world? For a leading metal recycling company in Almelo, we are looking for a forklift driver who likes to roll up his sleeves and feels at home in a dynamic working environment.
Our client is part of one of the largest steel producers in the world and plays an important role in the circular economy. For more than 35 years, they have been processing metals and electrical appliances and ensuring the recycling of valuable raw materials.

What are your duties?
As a forklift driver, you are the hub on the site. You ensure that containers and sorting boxes are in the right place, load and unload materials and keep an overview of the logistics processes. You also perform minor maintenance on your machine and actively contribute to a safe, tidy and organised yard.
As you will be working with many different materials, you will receive in-house training so that you know exactly how the processes and recycling flows.
What are we looking for?

You have forklift experience, a shovel certificate is a plus;

You have a forklift diploma or are willing to obtain one;

You have technical understanding and an affinity for metals;

You speak good Dutch and communicate clearly;

You are independent but also enjoy working in a team;

You have no problem starting early (07:00 - 16:30) and working overtime if necessary.
