For our client in Almelo, we are looking for an apprentice crane operator. Do you have no experience on a crane yet but would you like to learn this step by step? Then this vacancy might be the opportunity for you!

The company specialises in metal recycling. They process waste metal in a sustainable way (think household appliances to train carriages and aircraft).

What are your duties?

Challenging and varied job: As a crane operator, you will be in charge of a wide range of tasks ranging from grading and sorting material to loading production machines and loading and unloadingsen of trucks and ships;

Responsibility for material management: You will be responsible for accurately inspecting and sorting materials, where efficiency and precision are essential for a smooth production process;

Comply with environmental and safety regulations: You perform all your tasks in strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment is ensured;

Equipment maintenance: In addition to your operational duties, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the crane and other machines, ensuring their optimal performance and lifetime are guaranteed;

Teamwork and cooperation: you will not only work with the crane, but also be able to work with other production machines, such as forklifts and shovels. In addition, you will contribute to an organised en neat working environment on site;

Reliability and efficiency: As a crane operator, you are an essential link in the production process, in which you value reliability, efficiency and professionalism.

What are we looking for?

- - You have completed a technical education en would like to learn the crane operator's trade;
- - In addition, you have experience working independently with the forklift truck;
- - You can work both independently and as part of a team and also have a good command of the Dutch language;
- - You are flexible, able to switch easily and technically savvy;
- - Working shifted shifts is not a problem for you.
