Our client in Coevorden is a technical specialist in machining operations and machine construction. With a modern machine park, skilled colleagues and a strong team spirit, they deliver customised work for customers in various sectors. As there is room for expansion within the close-knit and committed team, we are looking for a Conventional Lathe Worker with a passion for technology and precision work.

What are your duties?
As a Conventional Lathe, you will work on small series and single piece production. You will be responsible for the complete machining process, from drawing to finished product. Your duties include:
- Reading and analysing technical drawings and determining the correct machining sequence.
- Independent preparation of editing programmes.
- Setting up and operating lathes/machining centres.
- Clamping of material and tools.
- Machining workpieces to specifications.
- Perform product and final inspections based on working drawings.
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30
- Friday 7.30-15.30
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Conventional Turner who:
- Has a completed education in machining technology or similar (at least MBO level 3).
- Relevant work experience within the turning and/or milling industry.
- Can independently programme and set up machines (experience with Okuma IGF and/or Heidenhain is a plus).
- Works accurately and has an eye for quality.
- Has a great sense of responsibility and wants to keep developing himself through training or courses.
