Our client in Coevorden is a technical specialist in machining operations and machine construction. With a modern machine park, skilled colleagues and a strong team spirit, they deliver customised work for customers in various sectors. As there is room for expansion within the close-knit and committed team, we are looking for a Conventional Lathe Worker with a passion for technology and precision work.

What are your duties?

As a Conventional Lathe, you will work on small series and single piece production. You will be responsible for the complete machining process, from drawing to finished product. Your duties include:

Reading and analysing technical drawings and determining the correct machining sequence.
Independent preparation of editing programmes.
Setting up and operating lathes/machining centres.
Clamping of material and tools.
Machining workpieces to specifications.
Perform product and final inspections based on working drawings.

You will deal with challenging projects and varied work, where craftsmanship and accuracy are key.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30
Friday 7.30-15.30

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Conventional Turner who:

Has a completed education in machining technology or similar (at least MBO level 3).
Relevant work experience within the turning and/or milling industry.
Can independently programme and set up machines (experience with Okuma IGF and/or Heidenhain is a plus).
Works accurately and has an eye for quality.
Has a great sense of responsibility and wants to keep developing himself through training or courses.
