For our client in Vriezenveen, we are looking for a Production Team Leader. In this role, you are the connecting link between the shop floor and the organisation. You know how to combine the importance of smoothly running production lines, a strong team and satisfied employees.
To be successful in this role, you will start with the basics: you will learn how the production lines work, how the dough should feel, what settings are needed and how to optimise processes. After this familiarisation period, you will use your knowledge and leadership to take your team to the next level every day.

What are your duties?

Breaking in and learning: You will learn the production lines through and through so that you know how to run them optimally.
Coaching and training: You recognise the talents in your team, give extra attention where needed and help (new) colleagues grow in their roles.
Onboarding: You will ensure a warm welcome for new employees, link them to the right trainers and monitor their progress.
Operational support: you will be the point of enquiry for your team, jumping in on the line, solving breakdowns and liaising with the Technical Department.
Process improvement: You implement advice from the quality department and encourage hygienic and procedural work.
Thinking along with the organisation: You translate organisational goals into concrete actions on the shop floor and actively contribute to improvement projects.

What are we looking for?

A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to understand both organisational and team interests
Natural leadership and exemplary behaviour, including daring to call colleagues to account
Flexibility and team spirit - willing to go that extra mile with the team
Willingness to work in a 3-shift system (Sundays always off)
Communicatively strong, stress-resistant and solution-oriented - also in English
