Woodworking machine operator

Are you good with wood, do you think logically, and do you enjoy varied work? For our client in Rijssen, we are looking for a Machine Woodworker. You will work with various wood and panel materials and will be responsible for accurately cutting bespoke orders with a modern panel saw. This is not series production work, but varied tasks where technical insight and accuracy are central.

Using work orders, you determine the correct approach, check the measurements, and ensure a high-quality final result. In doing so, you work independently, contribute to efficient working methods, and help maintain a tidy and safe working environment.

Your duties will include:

• Operating the panel saw;
• Cutting and processing wood and sheet materials.;
• Reading and interpreting work orders;
• Checking dimensions and quality;
• Ensuring a tidy and safe workplace;
• Thinking about improvements in the production process.

• Experience in woodworking is a plus, but not a requirement.;
• You can think logically and work accurately.;
• You have technical insight.;
• You are physically fit and enjoy getting stuck in.;
• You work independently but also function well within a team.;
• You have a positive work attitude and a sense of responsibility.

• A good salary commensurate with your experience and knowledge;

• A full-time position (40 hours per week) under the 8% scheme, with holiday pay and a minimum of 25 days’ holiday and 12 days’ time off in lieu.
