For our client, we are looking for a motivated machine operator. Do you have no experience yet but would like to learn the trade? This company gives you the chance to learn the entire process from A to Z at your own temp.
Based in Almelo, the company is engaged in metal recycling, they are engaged in the sustainable processing of waste metal (think household appliances to train carriages and aircraft).

What are your duties?

Within this organisation, you will have as apprentice machine operator a highly varied, challenging and responsible position regarding transport in our yard and the correct adjustment of our sorting machines. As an operator, you are mainly responsible for correctly and efficiently loading and unloading the sorting machines and independently loading trucks. Also you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of your machine and actively contribute to safety, order and cleanliness on site.

Of course, we are going tovanuit that you do not immediately master this work independently, which is why they offer in-house training to learn all processes and materials. In all your work, you will keep safety, environmental and quality requirements in mind.

What are we looking for?

Working independently with a shovel and forklift truck OR willing to learn;

You preferably have a completed education or relevant work experience at VMBO/MBO technical level;

Affinity with engineering and metals;

You can communicate well and have a command of the Dutch language;

You can work independently but also as part of a team, as well as being flexible and willing to work shift work.
