For a technical production company in Twente, we are looking for an Assembly Coordinator. In this role, you will be the hub of the assembly department and ensure that the assembly process runs smoothly, safely and on schedule.

What are your duties?
As assembly coordinator, you divide the work, direct your colleagues and actively participate in (complex) assembly and mounting work yourself.
Your duties will include:

Coordinating and distributing assembly work
-
Managing mechanics and assembly staff
-
Carrying out assembly, mounting and testing work yourself
-
Checking and testing machines for quality and functionality
-
Being first point of contact for the assembly department
-
Consultations with work preparation, engineering and logistics
-
Signalling material shortages
-
Thinking along about process improvements
What are we looking for?
You are someone who keeps an overview, takes responsibility and easily switches between cooperate and lead.
In addition, you bring:

MBO level 3 or 4 working and thinking level towards engineering

Demonstrable experience in assembly/assembly (preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment)

Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Leadership or coordination skills

Team-oriented attitude
