The European Championship always brings a lot of excitement and fun, not only on the field, but also in living rooms and in the workplace. This year, after the success of our World Cup pool, we decided to organize a Scorito World Cup 2024 pool again. And what a fantastic experience it was! We had immense fun here at the office and will be at the next tournament again with a fun pool for our employees, clients and relations!
What is Scorito?
For those not yet familiar with Scorito.com | The number 1 in sports games | Fantasy Sports: it is an online platform where sports fans can make their predictions for major sporting events, such as the World Cup and European Football Championships. Participants put together their own team or predict the results of matches. After each round, points are awarded based on actual results, creating a ranking among participants. Scorito adds an extra layer of excitement to the tournament, as you not only cheer on your favorite team, but also watch your own picks score.
Our Scorito EK-Poule: The road to place 1
This year we once again opened our European Championship Poule, in which our employees, clients and associates could make their predictions and compete with each other. The enthusiasm was great, the rivalry healthy, and the tension rose with each match played.
The battle for the top three was intense. In the end, it was Gijs who managed to take first place, thanks to his sharp prediction of two perfect semifinals and Spain as the European Championship winner. Nicholas and Alin, and Nacer had also predicted this correctly, but it was the earlier predictions that ultimately made the difference. Still, despite being "slightly" behind, Nicholas managed to walk away with first place thanks to his excellent agility, as seen in the photo.

So first place went to Gijs, who managed to accumulate the most points with his excellent predictions. Nicholas and Alin followed closely and Nacer completed the top three.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this EK-Scorito Poule 2024. It was great to see how everyone committed themselves every round and how the European Championship (thanks in part to good performances by the Dutch national team) was alive, both inside and outside of work.
